As a core pressure-control component within the main multi-way valve assembly, it performs four critical functions: limiting the hydraulic system's maximum pressure, relieving instantaneous overloads during heavy-duty excavation, maintaining constant load pressure, and dampening hydraulic shock. It serves as both a benchmark component for hydraulic power output and a vital safety barrier for these older, direct-injection models.

Engineered for the rugged demands of outdoor construction sites—characterized by heavy dust, splashing mud and water, and hydraulic oil prone to contamination with metal shavings—this universal cartridge relief valve features comprehensive upgrades in sealing, wear resistance, and anti-jamming performance.

The lower end and shoulder of the valve spool are fitted with dual-layer fluororubber (FKM) seals that withstand extreme temperatures, resist hydraulic oil corrosion, and endure long-term thermal aging. Precision-molded sealing grooves ensure a tight fit within the valve bore. These seals resist hardening, cracking, deformation, and leakage—even under conditions ranging from soaring oil temperatures during prolonged summer operations to the thermal cycling of cold starts in winter. This reliability prevents internal cross-pressure and external leakage, thereby avoiding fluid waste and contamination of the valve's internal oil passages.

The sliding interface of the valve spool utilizes micron-level precision grinding tolerances, while all pressure-relief ports and inlet orifices feature chamfered, burr-free edges to minimize erosion and cavitation damage caused by high-pressure oil turbulence. The inlet orifice incorporates a simple built-in filter structure to block larger metal particles and debris from entering the sealing interface.
