Product Introduction

This threaded cartridge relief valve is a high-pressure control valve specifically designed for use with the multi-way main control valve of the Sany SY485-10 and SY485-9 heavy-duty mining excavators. It is a core pressure-bearing and easily damaged component in the machine's hydraulic system, controlling the highest working oil pressure, overload relief, and constant pressure regulation. The SY485, a 48-ton class large heavy-duty excavator, primarily serves high-intensity operations such as mining, earthmoving, large foundation pit excavation, stockpile loading and unloading, and hard soil breaking in mountainous areas. It faces harsh loads such as rock excavation, heavy lifting, uphill loading, and full-load rotation.

The relief valve body is integrally forged from high-toughness alloy steel, eliminating the need for ordinary sand casting. This avoids inherent defects such as porosity, sand holes, and loose material, enabling it to withstand the continuous high-pressure impact and machine vibration during mining operations. Core components like the valve core and seat, which frequently slide back and forth and withstand hydraulic pressure impacts, undergo a dual heat treatment process of quenching hardening and surface carburizing hardening. This results in sufficient surface wear resistance and hardness to resist abrasive wear from hard slag and metal fragments in the hydraulic oil, effectively extending the service life of these components.

The valve core mating area is precisely machined using high-precision mirror grinding equipment, accurately controlling the appropriate assembly clearance between the valve core and valve sleeve. This ensures smooth and sensitive valve core opening and resetting, reducing the probability of valve core jamming, pressure regulation failure, and return-to-position jamming. The hexagonal locking area in the middle of the valve body is thickened, ensuring even force distribution with the wrench during maintenance and disassembly, reducing the risk of slippage and edge chipping. Multiple sealing points are equipped with high-pressure and high-temperature resistant fluororubber O-rings, providing multi-layered sealing to prevent impurities from entering the valve core cavity.
