Product Introduction

This coolant temperature sensor is compatible with D12 engines and is widely used in FH12, FM12, NH12 heavy-duty trucks, as well as large-scale construction machinery equipped with D12 power. This sensor is the core sensing component of the engine cooling control system. The probe directly contacts the coolant and collects real-time temperature data of the cooling water, and transmits the temperature signal to the engine electronic control unit (ECU). The ECU uses the temperature signal to regulate the fuel injection strategy, start and stop the fan, and achieve cold start with enhanced fuel injection and optimized combustion after the engine is warm, ensuring that the engine always operates within the optimal working temperature range.

The sensor uses a brass induction probe, which has a fast heat conduction speed, precise temperature measurement, strong corrosion resistance, and is not prone to rust even when immersed in the coolant for a long time. The sensor base is made of high-strength, temperature-resistant engineering plastic and is integrated. It is equipped with a double-layer, oil-resistant, and temperature-resistant rubber sealing ring and a brass fastening ring. The multiple sealing structures can effectively prevent coolant leakage and prevent liquid from entering the sensor and damaging the precise thermosensitive element. The top uses a dedicated heavy-duty waterproof connector, and the shell is anti-aging and can withstand the high temperatures, oil stains, and vibration erosion in the engine compartment. It maintains a stable connection even under the harsh working conditions of heavy trucks and construction machinery with continuous jolting.
