     The common rail overflow valve is mainly composed of a valve core, a spring, an adjusting device, etc. In the common rail system, when the fuel pressure in the common rail pipe exceeds the pressure value set by the overflow valve, the fuel pressure overcomes the spring force, pushes the valve core to move, opens the overflow valve, and some fuel flows back to the fuel tank from the common rail pipe, thereby reducing the pressure in the common rail pipe; when the pressure in the common rail pipe is lower than the set value, the spring force resets the valve core, closes the overflow valve, and maintains the pressure in the common rail pipe stable.

          - Stable pressure: ensure that the fuel pressure in the common rail pipe remains within the specified range, provide a stable injection pressure for the injector, make the injection process accurate and stable, and ensure the power output and fuel economy of the engine.

       - Protect the system: prevent the common rail system from being damaged due to excessive pressure, such as avoiding leakage, deformation or even rupture of components such as the common rail pipe and injector due to overpressure, and extend the service life of system components.

     It is mainly used in diesel engines with common rail fuel injection systems such as Caterpillar 320D excavators. By accurately controlling the fuel pressure in the common rail pipe and optimizing the fuel injection process, the engine can maintain good performance under different working conditions and reduce fuel consumption and exhaust emissions.
