Low Thermal Compression Set & Coolant Chemistry Resistance: Specifically formulated to resist chemical degradation from CAT Extended Life Coolant (ELC) and water-glycol mixtures. It features a low thermal compression set, maintaining a continuous resilient sealing force against mating joint surfaces during severe thermal cycling and engine cool-downs.
Low Closure Force Conformability & Surface Anti-Adhesion: Demonstrates high surface conformability under low clamp loads, effectively bridging micro-imperfections on rough cast-iron or aluminum fluid flanges. Designed with anti-adhesive surface properties, it minimizes distortion during assembly and prevents joint sticking during overhaul teardowns.
