The 324-7380/3247380 piston skirt is a core accessory designed specifically for the split piston assembly of CAT C9, C-9 series engines and E330D excavators. As a key supporting structure of the piston, its main functions are to bear the piston side pressure, guide the piston to reciprocate in the cylinder, and effectively dissipate the heat generated during the piston operation.
We select high-strength aluminum alloy material, add silicon, copper and other reinforcing elements to improve material rigidity and wear resistance. After precision casting and CNC machining, hard anodizing treatment is applied to form a hard oxide film on the product surface, which not only enhances wear resistance but also effectively isolates direct erosion of high-temperature gas. This piston skirt is produced in strict accordance with CAT's original technical standards, with dimensional accuracy controlled within ±0.04mm, which perfectly matches the piston body and cylinder liner. No additional processing or adjustment is required during installation, and the normal working performance of the piston assembly can be restored by direct assembly. Whether in high-intensity operation scenarios such as mining and construction, it can ensure stable piston movement, reduce engine abnormal noise, power reduction and other problems caused by piston skirt wear, and extend the overall service life of the engine.

Original Factory Fit, Precise Matching: Produced in full accordance with the original drawings of CAT C9/C-9 engine and E330D piston assembly, the dimensional parameters and installation interfaces are completely consistent with the original parts, which can be directly replaced and installed without modification, with a fit rate of 100%.
Reinforced Material, Wear-Resistant and Durable: High-strength aluminum alloy base material combined with silicon-copper alloy reinforcement, the material hardness is increased by 40% compared with ordinary aluminum alloy. Combined with hard anodizing surface treatment, the surface hardness can reach more than HV350, which effectively resists the friction loss of the cylinder wall, and the service life is extended by 50% compared with ordinary piston skirts.
Excellent Heat Dissipation, Strong Stability: The aluminum alloy material itself has excellent thermal conductivity. Combined with the heat dissipation pattern design on the product surface, it can quickly conduct the heat generated by the piston during operation to the cooling system, avoiding piston skirt deformation caused by local overheating and ensuring stable operation of the engine.
Stable Structure, Good Pressure Bearing Capacity: Adopting integral casting process, the internal structure of the product is uniform, without defects such as sand holes and air holes. It can stably bear the side pressure generated by piston movement (maximum bearing pressure of 8MPa), and prevent fractures, deformations and other faults during work.
