265-1113 (2651113) Piston Ring is a key sealing component custom-designed for Cat C11 and C13 series engines, compatible with heavy-duty excavators and other equipment equipped with these engines. As the "sealing barrier" between the engine combustion chamber and crankcase, it consists of a complete set of compression rings and oil rings, precisely matching the piston groove size and cylinder liner inner wall curvature. Its core function is to seal the high-pressure gas in the combustion chamber to prevent gas leakage into the crankcase, while scraping off excess engine oil on the inner wall of the cylinder liner to avoid oil entering the combustion chamber for combustion and generating carbon deposits, and also assist in conducting heat from the piston head to the cylinder liner. Strictly complying with CAT's original technical standards, the product adopts high-precision processing technology, and all dimensional parameters are completely consistent with the original parts. It can directly replace old and worn piston rings, and is suitable for high-intensity operation scenarios such as mines, infrastructure, and logistics, providing key guarantee for the efficient and stable operation of the engine and extending the service life of the whole machine.

Original-level Adaptation, Precise Installation:Produced in full accordance with the original factory drawings of CAT C11 and C13 engines, the key dimensions such as ring thickness, end gap, and side gap are consistent with the original parts. It can be directly assembled without adjustment, fitting the piston and cylinder liner perfectly, avoiding seal failure caused by improper adaptation.
High-Quality Material, Wear and Corrosion Resistant:Compression rings are made of high-strength alloy cast iron, with surface hardness reaching HRC60 or above after nitriding treatment; oil rings adopt stainless steel strip + spring steel liner ring structure, which has strong tensile and deformation resistance, can resist corrosion from high-temperature gas and engine oil, and the wear rate is much lower than that of ordinary piston rings.
Excellent Sealing and Oil Control:Compression rings adopt barrel or trapezoidal design, with large contact area with the cylinder liner, uniform sealing pressure, and gas leakage reduced by more than 40%; the oil scraping edge of the oil ring is precision ground, with high oil scraping efficiency, and the oil consumption rate can be controlled within the original factory standard range.
Strong High-Temperature Stability:Under the normal working temperature of the engine (200-300℃), it can still maintain stable elasticity and dimensional accuracy without softening or deformation, adapting to the high-load operation characteristics of C11 and C13 engines.
Outstanding Cost-Effectiveness:Produced according to original factory quality standards, the performance is equivalent to that of original piston rings, but the price is more competitive; at the same time, the service life can reach 8000-10000 hours, reducing replacement frequency and equipment downtime, and lowering comprehensive maintenance costs.
Performance
Sealing Performance:The gas sealing pressure can reach more than 10MPa, and under the rated working condition of the engine, the gas leakage is ≤0.5L/min, ensuring stable combustion efficiency and power output.
Oil Control Performance:The single oil scraping efficiency of the oil ring is ≥95%, and the engine oil consumption rate is ≤0.5g/kWh, which meets the original oil consumption standard of CAT C11 and C13 engines.
Wear Resistance:The thickness of the nitrided layer on the surface of the compression ring is ≥0.15mm. After 1500 hours of bench test, the wear amount is ≤0.03mm, which is far higher than the wear resistance standard of ordinary piston rings.
Elasticity Retention:After 1 million times of cold and hot cycle tests (-20℃ to 350℃), the elastic attenuation rate of the ring is ≤5%, and it can still maintain a good fitting and sealing effect after long-term use.
Working Temperature Range:It can work stably in the temperature range of -40℃ (startup) to 350℃ (normal working), and can maintain effective sealing for 30 minutes under the engine over-temperature condition (≤380℃).
Dimensional Accuracy:The roundness error of the ring is ≤0.002mm, the cylindricity error is ≤0.003mm, the end gap is precisely controlled at 0.2-0.4mm, and the fitting gap with the cylinder liner is optimal.
Notes
Before installation, clean the piston ring groove and cylinder liner inner wall to remove carbon deposits and impurities; during assembly, install the compression rings and oil rings in the order specified by the original factory, ensuring that the ends are staggered by 120° to avoid seal failure caused by aligned ends; it is recommended to use the engine oil recommended by the original factory to ensure the best sealing and wear resistance performance.
