For CAT 213-3190 connecting rod bearing is a key friction pair component custom-designed for CAT C9 series engines and E330D, E336D excavators equipped with this engine. As the core force transmission and lubrication medium between the engine crankshaft and connecting rod, it directly affects the power output stability and service life of the equipment. The bearing adopts a bimetal composite structure design: the steel back layer provides strong structural support, while the alloy anti-friction layer has excellent lubrication performance and load-bearing capacity. It can effectively buffer the reciprocating impact force of the piston connecting rod group, smoothly transmit the rotational power of the crankshaft to the connecting rod, and at the same time form a reliable lubrication protection through the oil film to avoid severe wear caused by direct metal contact. Strictly complying with CAT's original technical specifications, the product's dimensional accuracy is controlled at the micron level, achieving a perfect fit with the crankshaft journal and connecting rod big end hole. It can directly replace the original old or faulty bearings, and is widely used in E330D and E336D excavators under high-intensity operation scenarios such as mine mining, earthwork engineering, and infrastructure construction, providing a solid guarantee for the efficient operation of the engine.

ore than 600MPa, which can bear the high-frequency impact load during excavator operation; the anti-friction layer has a tin content of up to 15%-20%, with excellent embedability and conformability, which can accommodate tiny impurities and compensate for assembly errors, improving lubrication reliability.
Wear-resistant and Corrosion-resistant, Longer Service Life: The surface of the anti-friction layer has undergone phosphating treatment and precision grinding, forming a uniform and delicate lubrication interface, and the oil film adsorption capacity is increased by more than 30%. At the same time, it can resist corrosion from acidic substances in the engine oil; after 1500 hours of bench test, the wear amount is only 1/3 of that of ordinary bearings, and the service life can reach the same level as the original parts.
Good Heat Dissipation, Stable Operation: The bimetal structure has good thermal conductivity, which can quickly transfer the heat generated by friction to the connecting rod and engine oil, avoiding bearing ablation, fusion welding and other faults caused by local high temperature; it can still maintain stable friction coefficient and load-bearing performance when the engine is running under continuous high load.
Excellent Cost-effectiveness, Reducing Costs: Through large-scale production and strict cost control, it has a more competitive price than original accessories under the premise of ensuring original-level quality; at the same time, due to its long service life and low failure rate, it can reduce the number of equipment shutdowns for maintenance and lower the comprehensive operating cost.
Performance
Load-bearing Capacity: The rated static load-bearing capacity is ≥250MPa, and the impact load-bearing capacity can reach more than 350MPa, which can easily cope with the load impact under extreme working conditions such as excavator digging hard rock and heavy load lifting, without the risk of deformation and fragmentation.
Friction Performance: Under the condition of engine oil lubrication, the friction coefficient is stable between 0.005-0.01, and the starting friction coefficient is less than 0.02, which effectively reduces engine power loss, improves fuel economy, and reduces friction noise.
Dimensional Accuracy: The inner diameter roundness error is ≤0.002mm, the cylindricity error is ≤0.003mm, the surface roughness Ra is ≤0.2μm, and the fitting clearance with the crankshaft journal can be accurately controlled within the optimal range of 0.02-0.05mm, ensuring the stable formation of oil film.
Working Temperature Range: It can work stably in the temperature range of -20℃ to 150℃, and can still maintain effective load-bearing capacity for more than 10 minutes under the engine over-temperature condition (≤180℃), providing buffer time for emergency shutdown.
Fatigue Resistance: After 10 million cycles of impact test, there are no cracks on the steel back and no peeling off of the anti-friction layer. The fatigue strength meets CAT ESK-M2C931-A standard, which can adapt to the high-frequency reciprocating working characteristics of excavators.
Corrosion Resistance: After soaking in simulated degraded engine oil with sulfur content of 0.5% for 500 hours, there are no obvious corrosion spots on the surface, and the weight loss rate of the anti-friction layer is ≤0.05g/cm², which can adapt to the engine oil deterioration environment under harsh working conditions.
