This product is the air filter with model 479-8989 (4798989), a core wearing part custom-developed for the engine of CAT 320GC and 323GC series excavators. As the "respiratory barrier" of the engine, the air filter’s core function is to filter dust, sand, impurities and other pollutants in the air entering the engine cylinder, avoiding abrasive wear on precision components such as pistons, cylinder walls and valves caused by particles, while preventing problems such as insufficient fuel combustion and increased carbon deposits caused by pollutants. Developed and produced in strict compliance with CAT's original technical standards, the product’s dimensional parameters (outer diameter, inner diameter, height, installation interface) are completely consistent with the original parts.
