Valve Information:


The excavator relief valve is a valve installed in the hydraulic system to control the pressure and flow of the hydraulic system. In the hydraulic system of the excavator, the function of the overflow valve is to protect the hydraulic system and hydraulic components from damage caused by excessive pressure and flow. The working principle of the relief valve is to control the pressure and flow of the hydraulic system by adjusting the position of the spool. When the pressure of the hydraulic system reaches the set value, the overflow valve will open, and the excess hydraulic oil will flow back to the oil tank to maintain the stability of the hydraulic system. The relief valve can also be used to control the speed and force of the hydraulic cylinder during excavator operation. Q:Is a relief valve normally open or closed?
