Valve Information:


The excavator relief valve is a valve installed in the hydraulic system to control the pressure and flow of the hydraulic system. In the hydraulic system of the excavator, the function of the overflow valve is to protect the hydraulic system and hydraulic components from damage caused by excessive pressure and flow. The working principle of the relief valve is to control the pressure and flow of the hydraulic system by adjusting the position of the spool. When the pressure of the hydraulic system reaches the set value, the overflow valve will open, and the excess hydraulic oil will flow back to the oil tank to maintain the stability of the hydraulic system. The relief valve can also be used to control the speed and force of the hydraulic cylinder during excavator operation. By adjusting the flow of the overflow valve, the hydraulic cylinder can be moved slowly or quickly to meet the needs of different working situations.

A:The Relief Pressure is generally determined by the equipment being protected, and is calculated as Relief Pressure = Set Pressure + Overpressure.

A:In operation, the pressure relief valve remains normally closed until pressures upstream reaches the desired set pressure. The valve will crack open when the set pressure is reached, and continue to open further, allowing more flow as over pressure increases.
