• Function

1.Heat Absorption : The evaporator core, typically made of finned copper or aluminum tubes, provides a large surface area for heat exchange. Low-pressure, low-temperature liquid refrigerant enters the evaporator from the expansion valve. As it evaporates into a gas, it absorbs heat from the warmer air blown across the core by the blower fan, cooling the air before it is distributed into the cab.

2.Cooling of Cab Air : By removing heat from the cab air, the evaporator reduces the temperature inside the operator’s cabin, creating a more comfortable working environment, especially in hot conditions. This helps improve operator concentration and productivity.

3.Dehumidifiion : When the air passes over the cold evaporator coils, moisture in the air condenses into water droplets, which are then drained away. This process reduces humidity, preventing fogging of windows and improving overall air quality inside the cab.
