Brighttop Global Co., Ltd. provides durable grinding cups for restoring worn carbide buttons on rock drilling bits. These grinding tools help reshape worn buttons, maintain the required button profile and support consistent drilling performance.
Different grinding cup designs are available for grinding the carbide button, removing steel around the button or completing both operations during the same grinding process. Multiple diameters and profiles are available for spherical, semi-ballistic, full-ballistic and conical buttons.
Our grinding cups can be supplied with different shank connections to fit compatible pneumatic and handheld button bit grinders. They are suitable for DTH bits, threaded button bits, tapered button bits, top hammer bits and other carbide-button drilling tools.
Water cooling is recommended during grinding to control heat, clean the grinding surface and help extend the working life of the grinding cup. Epiroc also recommends water cooling for grinding cups and describes their use with handheld systems for top hammer and down-the-hole button bits.
