Non-Explosive Demolition Agent / Expansive Mortar(HSCA) Operation Manual and Precautions
Expansion agent should not be exposed to direct sunlight or moisture, and must be storedin a well-ventilated and cool place. When stirring, use flowing water, as stagnant water canbecome very hot when exposed to sunlight. Always wear protective goggles duringoperation. Before grouting, measure the temperature inside the hole, ambient temperature,water temperature, and temperature of the expansion agent powder. None of thesetemperatures should exceed the designed temperature of the expansion agent. If exceeded,spraying is required!
Non-Explosive Demolition Agent and Water MixingPackaging: Each package consists of a cardboard box or woven bag weighing 20kg. Itcontains 4 small bags, each weighing 5kg. Mixing with Water: For each 5kg small bag ofpowder, mix with 1.2kg of water (1:0.24 ratio). Pour the water into the container first, thenadd the powder, and stir evenly.
Construction Steps for High-Efficiency Expansion Agent:
1. Before drilling, measure the temperature inside the hole before dark, as theemperature inside the hole before dark determines the size of the drilling.The time for fillingholes must be before dark.
2. Drill holes, choose the appropriate drill bit according to the measured temperature.3. Before dark Grouting can be carried out when the ambient temperature and thetemperature inside the hole are lower than the designed temperature of the expansion agentIf it is in the morning, ensure that the ambient temperature does not exceed the designedtemperature within 3 hours. Throughout the entire operation, protective goggles and glovesmust be worn at all times.
4. After grouting, do not look directly at the holes within 4 hours to prevent splashing.Waterproofing must be ensured to prevent any rainwater from entering the holes. Otherwisethere will be no reaction. During the cracking period, rain is the most feared. When there istoo much water, it will affect the expansion force and cracking time. Therefore, waterproofing is very important.
