Expansive Demolition Grout - Soundless Rock and Concrete Cracking Agent

A non-explosive, soundless demolition powder that cracks rock and reinforced concrete through controlled expansive pressure. No blasting license, no vibration, no fly rock, no noise. Ideal for quarry bench trimming, foundation trenching, tunnel widening, and urban demolition where explosives are not allowed.

Mixing Ratio: 5 kg Powder to 1.2 kg Water

The standard batch is 5 kg of powder mixed with 1.2 kg of clean water (about 24% water by weight). Mix slowly for 2-3 minutes until a smooth, lump-free slurry is obtained, then pour into the prepared holes within 10 minutes.

Critical warning: Never add extra water. Too much water will slow down the cracking reaction and reduce the expansion pressure dramatically, and the grout may never crack the rock. Measure the water, do not estimate it.

Second Expansion Method - Key to Full Power

After the rock starts to crack, the first reaction is only half of the job. Re-watering the hole drives a second expansion from the bottom up and opens the crack much wider:

1. Wait until the rock surface shows visible cracks.
2. Recharge water at a rate of 0.5 kg (1 jin) of water per 1 meter of hole depth - a 2 meter deep hole takes 1 kg (2 jin) of water.
3. Pour the water into the hole and also along the cracks around the hole, until the water reaches the bottom of the hole. This lets the top and bottom of the hole expand together in a second reaction.
4. Repeat once every hour, three times in total, to fully release the expansive capacity of the grout.

Follow this re-watering schedule and the crack gap becomes much wider, so the hydraulic breaker or wedge works with far less effort. The result is faster breaking, lower breaker wear, lower fuel and labor cost, and higher overall breaker efficiency.

Application Steps

1. Drill holes 38-42 mm in diameter, spaced 30-50 cm apart, depth 1-2 m or 80% of the target height.
2. Clean the holes with compressed air; the holes must be dry and free of dust and water.
3. Mix 5 kg powder with 1.2 kg water and pour into the holes within 10 minutes.
4. Re-water as described above every hour, three times, once cracks appear.
5. Cracks normally appear in 10-30 minutes; full separation in 12-24 hours depending on rock hardness and temperature.
