Characteristics of various surface treatment processes
1. Grinding: The natural finish of aluminum allows it to form a natural anodic layer in the air, but this layer provides only weak corrosion resistance.
2. Anodizing: Through an electrolytic process, an anodic layer is formed on the surface of the material. The thickness of the anodized layer can exceed 13 micrometers. This process allows for the creation of various colors, such as metallic silver, champagne, bronze, black, etc., as well as matte versions of these colors.
3. Powder coating: The powder coating material is charged and sprayed onto the parts, forming a thick layer that protects the surface. The thickness of this coating ranges from 40 to 120 micrometers, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance. A wide range of colors are available for selection.
4. Electrophoresis: Building on the anodizing process, an additional transparent layer is formed on the surface, making it look clearer and slightly shinier. This process also provides excellent corrosion resistance. A 13-year quality guarantee is provided. Various colors are available, including metallic silver, champagne, bronze, black, etc., as well as matte versions of these colors.
5. Wood grain pattern: This is a new technology that creates a texture similar to that of real wood. Different types of wood grain patterns are available; the surface can also be made to resemble the texture of paper. A wide range of colors are available for selection.
