Aluminum foil fiberglass cloth is used in multiple industries. In the field of architecture, it is often used as an insulation material. For example, when laid in roof or wall structures, the aluminum foil layer can reflect solar radiation heat, reducing the transfer of heat to the interior, while the glass fiber cloth layer provides a certain insulation effect, helping to regulate indoor temperature. When choosing aluminum foil fiberglass cloth, several factors need to be considered. Firstly, the thickness and purity of the aluminum foil directly affect its reflection and barrier effects. Secondly, the weight and weaving density of glass fiber cloth are related to the overall strength and durability of the material. Furthermore, the quality of the adhesive determines the firmness of the bonding between aluminum foil and fiberglass cloth, as well as whether it will delaminate or release harmful substances in high temperature environments. Excellent insulation and heat reflection: The aluminum foil layer has a reflectivity of over 90% for far-infrared thermal radiation, significantly reducing heat conduction and suitable for insulation and heat preservation scenarios.
High temperature resistance and flame retardancy: Glass fiber substrate can withstand temperatures up to -196 ℃ to 300 ℃ (some products can reach 500-600 ℃), complying with GB8624 A1 or DIN4102 A1 non combustible standards, and self extinguishing upon ignition.
High strength and flexibility are combined: the longitudinal and transverse tensile strength can reach 8000 × 6000 N/5cm, the texture is firm and not easy to tear, while maintaining a certain degree of flexibility for easy construction.
Good moisture resistance and sealing: The aluminum foil layer achieves near zero water vapor permeability, making it impermeable and non breathable, effectively blocking moisture and protecting the core material (such as rock wool and glass wool).
Strong corrosion resistance and weather resistance: treated with anti-corrosion coating or polyethylene hot air composite process, resistant to acid and alkali, mold and suitable for humid, industrial or outdoor environments.
Lightweight and easy to construct: The thickness is usually 0.25-3.0 mm, and the weight is 75-2000 g/m ². It can be cut and bonded, and is commonly used for air duct wrapping, pipeline insulation, equipment protection, etc.
