Industrial PTFE Coated Fabric High Temperature Fiberglass Mesh
Material: Mainly made of alkali free glass fiber (E-glass), with a sodium oxide content of ≤ 0.8%, it has excellent electrical performance and mechanical strength. In addition, there are formulas for medium alkali, high alkali, and special glass.
Form: Made into sheet-like fabric through drawing, spinning, and weaving processes. Common types include plain weave, twill weave, satin weave and other woven structures, as well as electronic grade ultra-thin fabric and industrial grade thick fabric.
Function: To serve as the mechanical framework for materials, providing tensile strength, bending strength, and dimensional stability.
Epoxy resin: commonly used in high-end electrical panels (such as epoxy fiberglass panels). Has high adhesion, excellent electrical insulation, chemical corrosion resistance, and good mechanical properties. It can still maintain high strength at high temperatures (such as a bending strength of over 100MPa at 155 ℃).
Unsaturated polyester resin: belongs to thermosetting resin, with low cost and fast curing speed, widely used in hand lay up process, ships, automotive parts, and general anti-corrosion engineering.
Other resins: including vinyl resin (with stronger corrosion resistance), silicone resin (used for insulation and waterproof coatings), phenolic resin, etc., to be selected according to specific application scenarios.
High strength and high modulus: Glass fiber provides excellent tensile, bending, and impact strength, is lightweight but has strong load-bearing capacity, and has a much higher specific strength than ordinary metals.
Excellent dimensional stability: small coefficient of thermal expansion, not easily deformed under heat, low shrinkage rate (usually less than 2%), able to maintain structural accuracy.
Good electrical insulation: Both resin and fiberglass are excellent insulators with stable dielectric properties, widely used in PCB substrates and electrical insulation components.
Chemical corrosion resistance and weather resistance: It has strong resistance to acid, alkali, salt, and humid environments, does not absorb moisture, does not rust, and some formulations have UV aging resistance.
Flame retardant and heat-resistant: Most systems (such as epoxy and phenolic) have self extinguishing properties (UL94 V-0 level), and the heat-resistant level can reach F level (155 ℃) or even higher, depending on the resin type.
