Product Description

Calendered silicone fiberglass cloth is a high-performance composite material crafted by combining a base fabric (typically glass fiber cloth, aramid fiber cloth, or other high-strength textiles) with silicone rubber through a calendering process. This manufacturing technique involves passing the base fabric and molten silicone rubber through a series of heated rollers, which evenly coat the rubber onto the fabric surface—often on one or both sides—resulting in a smooth, uniform, and tightly bonded product.

The silicone calendered surface forms a moisture-resistant and weather-resistant barrier.It offers reliable resistance to UV exposure, ozone, and industrial environmental conditions.Products are suitable for both indoor and outdoor high-temperature applications.

Silicone calendered fiberglass fabric is available in various fabric weights, coating thicknesses, and roll widths.Different surface finishes and colors can be customized to meet application requirements.We offers both standard and tailored solutions for global OEM and industrial customers.

Silicone calendered fiberglass fabric typically has a thinner, more uniform silicone layer compared to traditional coating methods.It provides improved surface smoothness and dimensional consistency while maintaining heat resistance.

Features

Absorbing vibrations, compensating for displacements: The embossed glass fiber cloth has excellent elasticity and high flexibility, making it the core material for manufacturing non-metallic compensators (soft connections) and skins. It can effectively solve the deformation and damage caused by thermal expansion and contraction in the pipeline system, absorb mechanical vibrations, and extend the overall service life of the equipment.

High insulation strength, resistant to high voltage: It has a high electrical insulation grade, with a stable dielectric constant (3-3.2), and the breakdown voltage can reach 20-50KV/MM. It is an ideal material for making insulation cloth, bushings, and protective parts for motor electrical control, ensuring the safety of electrical operations.

Heat preservation and insulation, energy saving and consumption reduction: The thermal conductivity is low and the insulation performance is excellent. It is used to make detachable insulation covers (commonly known as "iron jackets"), which can precisely fit various irregularly shaped equipment such as valves and heat exchangers, reducing heat loss and improving working conditions; at the same time, it can also be used as a fire curtain or electric welding protection blanket to protect the safety of operators.

Resistant to harsh media, with tight sealing: It has excellent tolerance to lubricating oil, fuel, and acidic/alkaline chemical agents (particularly outstanding in the fluorocarbon coating). Suitable for anti-corrosion coatings inside and outside storage tanks, as well as acid and alkali resistant flexible connections, completely preventing leakage.
