When choosing fiberglass steel wire cloth, the first step is to clarify the core requirements of the actual application scenario. High temperature insulation scenarios: such as welding protection and boiler insulation, high-temperature resistant steel wire cloth or ceramic fiber cloth with steel wire should be selected, which has significantly better temperature resistance than ordinary models
Corrosive environment: For chemical equipment lining or pickling workshop protection, emphasis should be placed on steel wire reinforced fiberglass cloth that is resistant to acid and alkali corrosion
Structural reinforcement purpose: Building reinforcement or road crack prevention, requiring high tensile strength stainless steel wire mesh or steel wire fiberglass cloth
When there are strict requirements for fire rating, alternative solutions such as basalt fiber cloth can be considered. This type of material has better stability at sustained high temperatures, but the cost is relatively high. If the budget is limited and the temperature requirements are not high, standard steel wire reinforced glass fiber cloth combined with carbon fiber impregnated adhesive treatment can also meet most fire protection needs.

Excellent corrosion resistance: Glass fiber itself has good resistance to most chemicals such as acids, alkalis, and salts, which makes composite materials stable in most corrosive environments (non strong hydrofluoric acid or strong alkali long-term effects) and have a long service life. If stainless steel wire is used, the corrosion resistance is better.
4. Non flammability and insulation: Glass fiber is an inorganic material that does not burn and can have a flame retardant effect. It has good electrical insulation performance.
5. Design and adaptability: By adjusting the thickness and weaving density of glass fibers, the diameter and material of steel wires (such as galvanized and stainless steel), as well as the mesh size and weaving structure (plain weave, diagonal weave, etc.), products that meet different strength, flexibility, aperture, and weather resistance requirements can be produced.
