The heavy-duty beam-type racking is currently one of the most widely used racking systems, offering strong versatility to accommodate various types of goods. The height of the beams can be adjusted according to the dimensions of the goods. This racking system is primarily assembled from uprights, beams, cross bracing, slant supports, and self-locking bolts. The connection between beams and uprights typically employs a mechanical locking mechanism, allowing for easy disassembly and reassembly. The beams are made of specially designed cold-rolled P-shaped closed beams, which feature simplicity, reliability, lightweight construction, high load-bearing capacity, and low cost. The column clamps are equipped with specially designed safety pins when connected to the uprights, ensuring the beams will not detach under external impact. Functional accessories such as dividers, steel (wooden) pallet decks, wire mesh layers, storage container guides, and drum racks can be added based on the characteristics of the storage unit or container equipment. Depending on the user's actual requirements—such as pallet load capacity, pallet dimensions, warehouse space, and forklift lifting height—various specifications of beam-type heavy-duty racking can be provided for selection.
Heavy-duty beam-type racks are typically made from cold-rolled steel sections. The uprights are formed from 80 (90) x 60 (70) Ω-shaped steel with diamond-shaped holes punched on the surface, while the beams consist of welded connections made from 80x50, 100x50, 120x50, 140x50, and 160x50 channel sections. These racks usually employ pallets instead of shelves for easier forklift handling. Designed to bear loads ranging from 1 to 5 tons, they feature an electrostatically sprayed surface that enhances waterproofing, rust resistance, and corrosion resistance. With a high safety factor, the plug-in assembly eliminates the need for screws or welding, making installation extremely convenient. This design maximizes space utilization and provides robust storage capacity.
