Drive-in racking, as an efficient storage equipment, has a wide range of applications and notable effects. It is primarily used for storing large quantities of homogeneous goods, optimizing warehouse space utilization by minimizing aisle space.
The design feature of push-back racking is connecting several rows of traditional racking without dedicated aisles. The configuration can involve two sets of push-back racks installed back-to-back or a single set against a wall, with the same aisle used for both truck entry and exit. During storage, goods are first placed from the interior and then sequentially moved outward, while during retrieval, external goods are removed first, followed by sequential inward retrieval. This system offers excellent storage density but does not support first-in-first-out (FIFO) operations. It is suitable for raw material warehouses or transfer warehouses with periodic batch operations and high-frequency material handling.
