A: After replacement, first start the engine and listen for any abnormal friction or knocking sounds. Then, let the engine idle until it reaches normal operating temperature and observe if the fan begins to smoothly accelerate as the temperature rises. Finally, conduct a road test to ensure the engine coolant temperature remains stable within the normal range under all driving conditions.

A: The core component is high-viscosity silicone fluid. Inside the clutch, there are two chambers connected to the pulley and the fan blades respectively, containing closely fitted grooved drive discs. When the thermal actuator opens the valve, silicone fluid flows from the reservoir into the working chamber. The rapidly rotating drive disc uses the fluid's immense shear force to drive the driven chamber and fan, achieving a non-rigid coupling transmission of power.

A: A classic cold-engine test is: after the engine is completely cool, try to rotate the fan blade by hand. A good clutch should allow the blade to rotate a short distance with noticeable resistance.
