MPO / MTP patchcord is only the double size of LC, and it is the data center high-density fiber optic connector, MPO MTP connector can be 4 core, 8 core, 12 core, 24 core, 36 core, and 72 core. it can save double or more space for the data center and data transmission.
The MPO connection must be the same fiber count connector, 12 cores to 12 cores, 24 cores to 24 cores, etc.), But two MPO MTP connectors polarity should be different, one male connector connects with a female connector, and it must be the same polishing type( PC to PC, APC to APC). If both are female MPO MTP connectors, then they can't be connected. Also, the PC polishing couldn't be connected with APC polishing.
