This white 9mm PET felt ceiling tile (600x600mm) is a drop-in replacement for standard ceiling grids, instantly transforming reverberant commercial spaces into acoustically comfortable environments. Made from 100% recycled polyester fiber without chemical binders, the tile is formaldehyde-free, odorless, and safe for immediate use. Its NRC of 0.75 significantly cuts echo in offices, retail stores, and schools. The lightweight construction (approx. 2 kg/m²) allows easy handling and installation without modifying the existing T-bar grid. The clean white felt surface looks pristine, resists sagging, and meets Class B1 fire safety standards. It is OEKO-TEX certified, ensuring excellent indoor air quality and contributing to green building projects.
Many commercial ceilings use hard mineral-fiber tiles that reflect sound, creating a noisy, unproductive atmosphere. The porous PET structure absorbs sound waves that hit the ceiling, preventing them from reflecting back into the room. Since the ceiling is a primary reflection path, treating it dramatically lowers the overall reverberation level.
Measure your ceiling grid opening; these fit standard 600x600mm modules. For high-ceiling lobbies with strong echo, consider combining these tiles with wall-mounted panels or using our thicker 24mm ceiling panel.
Will these tiles sag over time?
No, the PET material is moisture-resistant and dimensionally stable, so it will not sag or warp like some fiberglass tiles.
Can I paint them?
We do not recommend painting as it can clog the porous surface and reduce acoustic performance. Choose from our 80+ available colors instead.
Are they easy to cut for downlights?
Yes, a sharp utility knife cuts clean edges for custom cutouts.
