Demister Pad Description

 
Demister pads also known as mist eliminator, they are made of knitted wire mesh pads with supports grids by welding processing. The mesh mist eliminator pads is a type of separator equipment that designed to collect liquid droplets from moving gas or vapor streams and lower the pressure drop of the separators, protect downstream equipment, prevent production losses and avoid potential process or environmental contamination.
 

Demister Pad Features

 

*Efficient defogging and droplet capture efficiency can usually reach over 98%. 
*Low pressure drop, loose structure, large specific surface area, capable of effectively separating liquid droplets while maintaining low resistance to gas flow, typically with a pressure drop of around 100-300 Pa. 
*Simple structure and easy installation 
*Strong adaptability, can be designed in circular, rectangular, or other shapes depending on the material selection.
*Stable operation, minimal maintenance, no moving parts, long service life

Demister Pad Application

 

*Petrochemical plant Distillation tower, absorption tower, washing tower, flash tower, etc. are used to prevent liquid from being carried into the upstream gas system. Prevent solution mist from entering subsequent equipment in desulfurization and decarbonization units. 

*Fertilizer, pharmaceutical, and metallurgical industries During the synthesis of ammonia and urea, gas purification towers are used to capture liquid droplets. Pharmaceutical distillation tower, extraction tower gas-liquid separation. 
*Environmental Protection and Waste Gas Treatment Capture slurry droplets in flue gas desulfurization (FGD) towers to reduce secondary pollution. Used in various acid mist purification towers to capture acid mist.
*Natural gas and coal chemical industry Natural gas purification and gas washing tower to prevent solvent carryover. 
*Other industries Shipbuilding industry: gas-liquid separation of distilled fresh water equipment for ships. Food industry: alcohol distillation tower, vegetable oildistillation tower
