The Flood-Resilient Temporary Security Fence is designed specifically for perimeter protection where standing water and rapid water level changes are expected. Combining welded mesh with a rigid tubular frame, the panels deliver perimeter delay while allowing water to pass through the mesh, reducing hydrodynamic loading. The system integrates rapid-anchor hardware and modular ballast so operators can deploy, stabilize, and later recover fences with minimal site damage.
Design & Hydraulics
Mesh aperture and wire gauge are selected to balance permeability and anti-climb performance. Larger apertures (e.g., 75×75 mm) speed water throughput during surges, while 50×100 mm options provide higher deterrence. Perforation pattern and lower-edge clearance are optimized to prevent debris accumulation and reduce blocking of drainage channels. The welded construction maintains structural integrity under transient flow pressures; anchors and ballast combine to resist uplift and lateral scour.
Anchoring & Ballast Strategy
We provide three complementary anchoring options: (A) quick-drive ground anchors for soft soils and flood plains, (B) removable steel ballast boxes for hard surfaces and temporary hard-standings, and (C) flange/baseplate for permanent or semi-permanent handover. Sandbag or water-fill cells slot into palletized ballast frames for rapid site fill and emptying. Anchors are designed for repeated reuse and rapid extraction after flood recedes.
Operational Advantages
Rapid deployment reduces exposure time for crews working in hazardous conditions. Palletized transport and fork pockets let fences be staged close to riverbanks or road access points for immediate rollout. The panels clean easily — accumulated silt and debris can be hosed through the mesh and ballast emptied for re-use. Because the fence permits water flow, it avoids creating unintended ponding zones and reduces structural loads compared to solid hoarding.
