Product Overview
The Stackable Ballast Temporary Security Fence is a modular perimeter system optimized for speed of deployment, depot efficiency and repeated rental cycles. Panels are welded-mesh framed with hot-dip galvanised tubing and pair with interlocking HDPE ballast blocks that fill with water on site. This approach minimizes transported mass, allows single-person handling of empty ballast, and provides fast, tool-light stabilisation once filled.
Rapid Fill & Reuse Workflow
Ballast blocks ship nested and are placed beside each panel post; once panels are in position, crews fill ballast with water (or sand where water is unavailable) and lock the interlock tabs. Emptying and stacking at the end of a hire cycle returns components to pallet volume, vastly reducing depot footprint and freight cost. For hard-standing sites, steel ballast boxes are available to provide compact mass without the need for water.
Safety, Stability & Anti-Trip Design
Base blocks feature a low-profile outer edge and integrated chamfers to reduce trip hazards on busy event routes. Optional anti-tilt struts or diagonal braces connect from post to ballast for higher wind exposure or long perimeter runs. The welded mesh maintains sightlines for CCTV while the ballast location reduces the need for intrusive ground fixings, preserving site surfaces.
