FeSi Alloy Granules Black Color High Silicon Content Used in Deoxidizer and Alloy Agent

FeSi alloy granules, distinguished by their deep black hue, are high-silicon metallurgical products engineered for dual roles as deoxidizers and alloying agents in steel and foundry sectors. With silicon levels often exceeding 70%, these granules leverage rapid oxidation kinetics—their granular form increases surface area, accelerating reaction with molten metal oxides (e.g., FeO) to form lightweight slag, easily separated from the melt. This efficiency reduces processing time and energy consumption, a boon for high-throughput foundries. As alloying agents, the high silicon content enhances steel’s strength, hardness, and heat resistance, making it ideal for manufacturing tools, pipelines, and structural components. The black color stems from controlled carbonization during production, which also stabilizes the alloy, preventing premature degradation.
