Description
High strength refractory low cement castable is a type of refractory material used in high-temperature applications, such as furnaces, kilns, and incinerators. It is made from a blend of high-quality refractory aggregates, fine powders, and low cement content, which gives it excellent mechanical strength and resistance to thermal shock.
The low cement content in the castable allows for a reduced amount of water in the mix, resulting in a higher density and greater strength. This type of castable has a low porosity, which makes it more resistant to erosion, abrasion, and chemical attack than traditional refractory materials.
High strength refractory low cement castable is typically used in areas that experience high mechanical stresses and extreme temperatures, such as the lining of furnaces, the floors and walls of kilns, and in the waste incineration industry. It can also be used for repairs and maintenance of existing refractory linings.
