High Carbon Content: GPC typically has a carbon content of 98% or higher, which makes it an excellent source of carbon for foundry applications.
Low Sulphur Content: GPC has a very low sulphur content, typically less than 0.05%, which helps to reduce the risk of sulfur-induced defects in castings.
High Thermal Conductivity: GPC has a high thermal conductivity, which makes it an effective heat transfer medium in sand molds and cores, helping to ensure more uniform cooling and solidification of the metal.
Low Ash Content: GPC has a low ash content, typically less than 0.5%, which helps to minimize the generation of casting defects caused by slag and other impurities.
