Silicon Calcium Description
Calcium Silicon (Ferro Silicon calcium/silicon calcium) is composed of the elements of silicon, calcium and iron, is an ideal compound deoxidizer and desulfurization agent. It is widely used in the production of high quality steel, low carbon steel, stainless steel ,nickel base
alloy, titanium alloy and other special alloy.
In cast iron production,the calcium silicon alloy have inoculation effect.
Advantage of calcium silicon:
1. Si and Ca can be controlled.
2. Less impurities of C, S, P, Al.
3. Pulverization and deliquescence resistance.
4. Calcium have a strong affinity with oxygen, Sulfur and Nitrogen.

Silicon Calcium Application
Since calcium has a strong affinity with oxygen, sulfur, hydrogen, nitrogen and carbon in liquid steel, silicon calcium alloy is mainly used for deoxidization, degassing and fixation of sulfur in steel fluid.
It is widely used in high quality steel, low carbon steel, stainless steel production and nickel base alloy, titanium alloy and other special alloy production.
