Ferro Silicon Aluminum Description
Silicon-aluminum-iron alloy is a deoxidizer used in steelmaking production. It improves the morphology of inclusions and reduces the content of gas elements in molten steel. It is a new effective technology to improve steel quality, reduce costs and save aluminum.Practice has proved that Silicon-aluminum-iron alloy not only meets the requirements for deoxidation of steelmaking, but also has the advantages of desulfurization, high specific gravity, and strong penetrating power.
Ferro Silicon Aluminum Alloy Advantage:
1. Silicon-aluminum-iron alloy is a kind of strong compound deoxidizer. The density of silicon-aluminum-iron alloy is higher than that of pure aluminum, which makes it easier to enter molten steel and has less internal burnout. In the steelmaking process, compared with the use of pure aluminum alone as a deoxidizer, the use of silicon-aluminum-iron alloy not only has higher aluminum yield and utilization, the amount of residual aluminum is also easier to control, and the shape of inclusions has also improved.
2. Deoxidation with silicon-iron-aluminum alloy can form a product with a low melting point, which makes the inclusions easy to polymerize, floats easily. It improves the quality of steel. When separately use the aluminum and Silicon-aluminum-iron alloy to deoxidize, the total aluminum content of aluminum in the steel is higher than Silicon-aluminum-iron alloy, but the acid-soluble aluminum of Silicon-aluminum-iron alloy is higher than aluminum. This indicates that when ferrosilicon is used, the aluminum oxide inclusions decrease very much.
