Ferro silicon Description
Ferro silicon is an essential deoxidizer in the steelmaking industry. In torch steel, ferro silicon is used for precipitation deoxidation and diffusion deoxidation. Brick iron is also used as an alloying agent in steel making. Adding a certain amount of silicon to the steel can significantly improve the strength, hardness and elasticity of the steel, increase the magnetic permeability of the steel, and reduce the hysteresis loss of the transformer steel.
Fesi alloy Function
1. It is often used as deoxidizer in steel making.
2. Ferrosilicon can be used as alloy elements join agent, widely used in low alloy steel, non-ferrous metal,bearing steel, heat-resistant steels and electrician silicon-steel.
3. FeSi is used as a reductant in ferroalloy(SiMn) production and chemical industry.
4. In iron industry, 75 Silicon Ferro Lump can be used as inoculant and nodulizer.
