Dry powder is driven downward by a top-mounted, variable-speed vertical screw feeder that pre-compacts and de-aerates the feed. The material is forced between two high-hardness alloy roller shells. A hydraulic pump station and nitrogen accumulators apply constant linear pressure (up to dozens of MPa) to the movable bearing blocks. As the powder passes through the high-pressure gap, air is squeezed out, inducing crystal lattice displacement that welds the dry powder into a solid sheet. This sheet drops into an integrated under-crusher and screen loop to yield angular, high-density granules.
