What are the roles of silicon calcium alloy in the steel industry?
Silicon calcium alloy plays an important role in the steel industry. It is mainly used for: (1) Silicon calcium alloy is used as a deoxidizer and desulfurizer in the steelmaking industry. (3) Silicon calcium alloy is used as a deoxidizing, desulfurizing and inoculant in cast iron production. Silicon calcium alloy improves the performance of cast iron more effectively than ferrosilicon. Silicon calcium alloy can deoxidize, deoxidize and increase silicon in cast iron, and it is also an effective inoculant to promote the formation of spheroidal graphite.
