FAQ 


Q1: Can I swap H2.0 / H2.5 / H3.0 parts directly on same PCB?

A: Yes. This product family adopts a unified SMT pad layout. You can change stacking height by switching part number only; no PCB change required. But physical housing height differs, must match mechanical housing clearance.

Q2: What happens if FPC is inserted incompletely?

A: The flip‑lock actuator cannot close fully when FPC is not seated in position. If forced closed under partial‑insertion state, intermittent signal or open‑circuit failure will occur. Always confirm an obvious “click” sound when locking the actuator.

Q3: Can I use a manual soldering iron for rework?

A: Manual iron is allowed for limited repair. Keep iron temperature ≤350 °C, soldering time per pin ≤3 seconds. Never touch LCP plastic housing with hot iron tip, housing melting will cause permanent connector damage. Max allowed rework times: 2 times per connector.

Q4: Which FPC / FFC cable should I purchase to match this connector?

A: Standard: 0.5 mm pitch, 40 circuits, 0.30 mm total thickness. Confirm whether you need stiffener reinforcement on the insertion end of the FPC.

Q5: Does this connector support high‑speed MIPI / LVDS signal?

A: It supports common display‑interface signal transmission. For high‑speed differential signals, overall system performance depends on FPC impedance control, PCB trace design, and ground layout. We suggest joint validation with your FPC supplier.

Q6: What is the shelf‑life for reel‑packed connectors?

A: Under original sealed packaging, storage ≤40 °C / ≤70 %RH, shelf‑life is 6 months. After opening the reel, finish SMT assembly within 72 hours under a normal workshop environment to avoid terminal oxidation.

Q7: Can you provide Altium / KiCad PCB footprint files and datasheet?

A: Yes. Contact our sales team to request the official datasheet, 3D STEP model, and PCB footprint library for engineering evaluation.

Q8: Can I get small‑quantity samples before mass order?

A: Sample service is available for design validation. Standard‑spec samples ship quickly; customized variants require tooling lead‑time quotation.
