The transmitter section uses a high quality multiple quantum well CWDM DFB laser conforming to the International Safety Standard IEC-60825 and certified as a Class 1 laser. The receiver section uses an integrated InGaAs detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC, ensuring an incomparable performance. Furthermore, this series is designed to be compliant with SFF-8472.
The Data-rate of 1.25Gbps operation requires an 18-Wavelength CWDM DFB LD Transmitter which ranges from 1270nm to 1610nm with a step of 20nm and is compliant with SFP MSA and SFF-8472. It supports a SONET OC-24-LR-1 as well as performing RoHS and +3.3V single power supply operations with a Hot-Pluggable SFP Footprint Duplex LC receptacles.
