The buffer-tube fan-out kits are intended for the furcation of buffer tubes onto 900µm legs as required to field-install connectors on bare fibres. Different kits are available for applications on stranded loose tube cables at indoor or outdoor cross-connection points. In combination with the transition kits the indoor buffer tubes fan-out kits can be also installed on single maxi-tube cables.

The branch end is the accessory of fixed protective tube, and the optical cable end is the component of fixed optical cable.
