The CLX-MPO Fiber Optic Polishing Machine is designed for precision polishing of MTP/MPO patch cords and pigtails. It can also be used with various fiber optic connectors, including FC/UPC, SC/UPC, ST/UPC, LC/UPC, MU/UPC, FC/APC, MT-RJ, and E2000. With optimized polishing performance for MTP and MPO connectors, it is suitable for fiber optic connector manufacturing and repair applications.
The machine allows users to independently adjust the polishing speed, pressure, and processing time for each polishing stage. This flexible process control helps achieve stable polishing results and consistent connector quality.
A closed-loop pneumatic pressure control system monitors and regulates polishing pressure, with control accuracy of up to ±0.1 lbs. The processing time is controlled by a programmable system with a timing accuracy of 0.01 seconds, providing precise and repeatable operation.
7-inch PC-based touchscreen with an intuitive interface for convenient machine operation.
Flexible power configuration: the standard AC220V input is converted to 24V for machine operation. For AC110V applications, a suitable transformer is required.
Programmable polishing processes with slow-start and polishing compensation functions. The system can save up to 20 polishing programs, with each program supporting up to 8 polishing steps.
Programmable slow-start speed and pressure allow different starting parameters to be configured for individual polishing applications.
Polishing film counting function enables users to monitor and manage film consumption during production.
Programmable maintenance management helps track machine maintenance requirements and improve equipment management.
Pressure sensor feedback enables pneumatic pressure calibration for more accurate and stable polishing force control.
Automatic pressure compensation adjusts the polishing force according to the number of jumpers installed on the polishing fixture.
Adjustable polishing speed from 10 to 200 RPM, suitable for different polishing stages and connector types.
USB process transfer allows saved polishing programs to be copied and transferred to other machines for convenient production setup.
Low air pressure protection: the machine automatically gives an alarm and stops operation when the air pressure falls below the required level.
High-capacity polishing capability: when equipped with the appropriate fixture, the machine can polish up to 24 MTP/MPO connectors simultaneously, with a 3D interferometer pass rate exceeding 98% under suitable process conditions.
Real-time process display shows the current polishing procedure, rotational speed, pressure, and other operating parameters on the touchscreen. Stored programs can also be quickly selected and recalled when required.
