Silicone coated fiberglass cloth is made of high tensile strength woven fiber glass fabric. When it is coated with silicone on one side or both two sides. Silicone coated fiberglass fabric is abrasion resistant, tear resistant, durable, fire resistant, chemical resistant. What's more, silicone coating with feature of electrical insulation, it always be used to thermal insulation blanket for power equipments.
Silicone coating can work well below 260℃ continuously. The basic fiberglass cloth is capable of withstanding 550℃. Depends on its stable physical properties, chemical corrosion resistance, tear resistance and abrasion resistance properties, the silicone coated fiberglass cloth are widely used for thermal insulation and electrical insulation protective blankets or jackets. It is also can be used for fire blanket, welding splash protection curtain, heat shield, expansion joints, valve/generator insulation jackets.
