The fibers are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. The loose tube are filled with a water-resistant filling compound to keep the fiber in place, and suitable for outdoor application, and then with a PE outer sheath to protect it from break or bad pulling. There are 1 more steel messenger wire to support the fiber optic cable to install for aerial mount, to keep good enough tensile strength.
