The glass fiber membrane filters we provide are constructed of extremely fine fibers of glass and treated into hydrophobic type for air venting and gas sterilization applications. It is a very economical option for air venting as compared with PTFE membranes. Hydrophobic glass fiber membranes from us are made medical grade, available in a variety of pore sizes and formats, and are extensively used for spike venting of I.V infusion sets, or as a prefilter media in a syringe filter to remove large particles, or simply as a supportive back of other membranes filters. Glass fiber membrane filters generally perform as a barrier to block microbial contaminants in the air.
