Fiberglass woven bags are high-performance industrial filter bags made from alkali-free glass fiber raw materials through processes such as warping, weaving, and setting. They are characterized by high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and dimensional stability, serving as the core filter material in high-temperature flue gas dust removal scenarios. These bags are woven using plain weave, twill, satin, or other weaving techniques, resulting in a dense and uniform fabric structure with a filtration accuracy of 1–5μm, enabling efficient interception of fine dust particles. The material itself has a wide temperature resistance range, with a long-term operating temperature of up to 260°C and a maximum instantaneous withstanding temperature of 300°C, making it suitable for high-temperature flue gas conditions in metallurgy, cement, chemical, and waste incineration industries. Additionally, fiberglass exhibits excellent chemical stability, resisting strong acid and alkali corrosion, and is non-flammable with extremely low dimensional shrinkage, thus maintaining structural integrity and avoiding deformation in high-temperature environments, with a service life far exceeding that of conventional synthetic fiber filter bags. To enhance filtration performance and dust shedding properties, some fiberglass woven bags undergo post-treatments such as PTFE coating and silicone oil impregnation. Coated versions achieve "surface filtration" of dust, reducing cleaning frequency and preventing dust from penetrating into the fiber interior to clog the bag; impregnation treatment enhances the bag's flexibility and reduces the risk of fiberglass fiber brittleness and breakage. The limitations of fiberglass woven bags include poor flexibility and moderate bending and wear resistance, making them unsuitable for high-velocity airflow or strong gas flow erosion conditions. They are typically used in conjunction with rigid filter cages and primarily applied in high-temperature flue gas purification systems, standing as a classic choice in the field of industrial high-temperature dust removal.
