Product Specification
PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide) filter bags are high-performance industrial filtration components renowned for their exceptional resistance to high temperatures, chemicals, and harsh operating conditions. Engineered with PPS fibers as the core material, they are specifically designed to address the challenges of dust collection and flue gas purification in extreme industrial environments, becoming a staple in industries with stringent filtration requirements.
In terms of material and structure, PPS filter bags are made from high-quality PPS fibers, which inherently possess outstanding thermal stability. They can operate stably in a long-term temperature range of 190℃ to 230℃, with a short-term tolerance of up to 260℃. Additionally, PPS fibers exhibit excellent chemical resistance, capable of withstanding corrosion from acids, alkalis, organic solvents, and other aggressive media. Common weaving structures include plain weave, twill weave, and satin weave; some adopt enhanced processes to increase fabric density, ensuring excellent dimensional stability to prevent deformation and shrinkage under high temperature and pressure, while optimizing air permeability and effective filtration area.
In terms of core performance, the prominent advantage of PPS filter bags lies in their "efficient filtration and long-term durability under high-temperature working conditions". The moderate smoothness of the fiber surface enables them to efficiently capture fine dust particles of 0.5-5 microns, with a filtration efficiency of over 99.5%, while reducing dust adhesion. Combined with ash cleaning methods such as pulse jet or mechanical vibration, the dust on the filter bag surface is easy to peel off, extending the service life by more than 30% and significantly reducing equipment maintenance costs. Moreover, PPS fibers have strong oxidation resistance and aging resistance, ensuring a much longer service life than ordinary filter materials in harsh working conditions such as coal-fired boilers and waste incinerators.
