Extruded fin tubes feature fins formed by extruding a sleeve of aluminum or other materials over a base tube, creating a strong mechanical bond. This process delivers high-efficiency heat transfer with exceptional durability and resistance to thermal and mechanical stresses.
Widely used in air-cooled heat exchangers (ACHEs), these tubes provide superior heat transfer capabilities and robust construction. They efficiently transfer heat from process fluids within the tubes to surrounding air through the attached fins.
As integral components in industrial cooling systems, extruded fin tubes offer high efficiency, durability, and reliability across various applications. Their enhanced heat transfer performance and rugged construction make them ideal for demanding environments requiring efficient cooling and long service life.
Monel 400 is a nickel-copper alloy (67% Ni - 23% Cu) resistant to seawater, high-temperature steam, salt, and caustic solutions. This solid solution alloy can only be hardened by cold working, offering excellent corrosion resistance, weldability, and high strength. Its low corrosion rate in brackish or seawater and resistance to stress-corrosion cracking make it ideal for marine applications and non-oxidizing chloride solutions.
