ASTM C518 Thermal Conductivity Tester Introduction:
This instrument employs an internationally popular heat flow meter method to detect thermal conductivity and thermal resistance, with a computer-aided fully automated testing system generating experimental reports. The instrument uses a stable hot surface temperature applied to one side of the sample; heat is transferred through the sample to the cold surface, and the thermal conductivity and thermal resistance are calculated by measuring the transferred heat flow. Utilizing imported sensors and computer technology, it features high measurement accuracy, high reliability, and good repeatability. It is particularly suitable for measuring low thermal conductivity (accurate to 0.1mW). It can be used for testing plastics, rubber, insulation materials, aerogel boards, vacuum glass, etc., and is widely used in universities, research institutes, quality inspection departments, and factories.

ASTM C518 Thermal Conductivity Tester Parameters:
1. Thermal conductivity range: 0.0001~1W/mk, can be measured accurately to 0.1mw/mk.
0.001~300W/mk. Computer automatically switches the range.
2. Measurement accuracy: 1%.
3. Sample size: 50×50~150×150, 150×150~300×300 (mm) optional
(standard configuration), thickness not more than 50mm. 600×600, 800×600 (mm) and other special sizes can be customized.
4. Can test solid materials and powdered materials.
5. Measurement time 15~20 min.
6. Hot surface temperature and control: room temperature~99.9℃ (standard configuration), room temperature~299.9℃, room temperature~499.9℃ optional. Flat heater, bidirectional thyristor control, temperature control accuracy 0.1℃.
7. Cold surface temperature and control: 0~99.9℃ (standard configuration), -10~99.9℃, lower temperature can be determined according to user requirements. The cold surface is water-cooled to ensure the stability of the cold surface temperature (precision constant temperature water tank, adjustable temperature), temperature control accuracy 0.1℃.
8. The sample is clamped by computer precision pressure, pressure range 0~1000N, resolution 0.1N. 9. Automatic measurement of sample thickness, 0~50mm, resolution 1um.
10. Imported original heat flow meter is used, with stable and reliable performance.
11. The whole process uses computer automatic testing and prints and stores experimental data.
