The SMC KQG2 series of stainless steel one-touch pneumatic fittings provide engineers with reliable performance and outstanding protection against corrosion and harsh chemicals, as well as the ability to withstand high temperatures.
These high-performance fittings offer an array of benefits, including being 30% smaller and an impressive 62% lighter than traditional fittings due to their compact design. What’s more, they cover an extensive range of tubing diameters, from 3.2mm to 16mm.
The KQG2 series is also highly versatile and suitable for use with a variety of compressed air, water and steam systems, at operating pressure levels ranging from (-100 kPa to 1MPa) and temperature conditions from (-5°C to +150°C). Additionally, they are made from SUS316 stainless steel, which is higher-grade than SUS304 stainless steel, offering improved corrosion resistance and pitting abilities, particularly in chloride environments.
This product is highly compact and light. It is approx. 30% shorter in dimensions and 62% lighter in weight compared to the KQGL06-01S.
The materials used in the making are stainless steel 316 for the metal parts and special FKM for the seal parts.
It is compatible with many different types of tubing, such as FEP, PFA, nylon, soft nylon, polyurethane and polyolefin, with temperature ranging from -5 to 150°c. Additionally, it is grease-free, making it suitable for use with steam as well.
