The Burkert Series 6213 features servo-assisted 2/2-way diaphragm solenoid valves that are normally closed. These valves are distinguished by their compact design, high flow capacity, capability for zero-pressure startup, and minimal noise during operation. They are well-suited for handling water, as well as neutral and mildly corrosive fluids. Covering a range of nominal diameters from DN10 to DN40 and operating pressures up to 10 bar, these valves find extensive use across various sectors including water treatment, food and beverage processing, pharmaceuticals, and more.
The Series 6213 solenoid valve operates as a P/NC (normally closed) 2/2-way valve, with the inlet port designated as P. It incorporates a force-coupled diaphragm combined with a spring in a servo-assisted configuration to enhance performance. The standard model supports startup at zero differential pressure, although a minimum pressure difference of 0.1 bar is advisable to ensure full valve opening.
Additionally, a specialized HP00 version is available which can open without any pressure differential, making it an ideal choice for gas and vacuum applications. The valve’s damping mechanism effectively mitigates water hammer effects and lowers switching noise, resulting in both smooth operation and a quieter environment during use.
