The Burkert Series 6213 features servo-assisted 2/2-way diaphragm solenoid valves that are normally closed. These valves stand out due to their compact design, high flow capabilities, ability to start up at zero pressure, and low noise operation. They are perfectly suited for applications involving water, as well as neutral and mildly corrosive fluids.
Covering an operational range from DN10 to DN40 and pressures up to 10 bar, the Series 6213 valves are widely utilized across various industries, including water treatment, food and beverage production, pharmaceuticals, and other sectors requiring reliable fluid control.
The Series 6213 is a P/NC type (normally closed with inlet port P) 2/2-way solenoid valve. It employs a force-coupled diaphragm combined with a spring in a servo-assisted design. This design allows the standard valve to start operating even at zero pressure, although a pressure differential of at least 0.1 bar is recommended for the valve to fully open.
A specialized variant, the HP00 version, can open without requiring any pressure difference, making it ideal for gas and vacuum applications. Additionally, the valve incorporates a damping mechanism that effectively minimizes water hammer and reduces switching noise, ensuring smooth and quiet operation at all times.
